Customer Sales Advisor

Full Time | 37.5 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £26,436 + Bonus Opportunity

We’re looking for a Customer Sales Advisor to join a successful international business that supplies ingredients to customers across the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a supportive and stable organisation that is passionate about training and development.

Previous industry experience is not essential. We’re looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and someone who enjoys working collaboratively with customers and colleagues alike.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Processing customer orders received via email and through the company website
  • Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs
  • Working closely with Account Managers to support sales targets and customer requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to promote products to existing customers
  • Providing a high level of customer service and administrative support
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Learning and working with the company’s new ERP system
This is not a cold-calling sales role. The focus is on developing relationships with existing customers and ensuring they receive an excellent service.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confidence using IT systems and learning new software
  • A team player who enjoys contributing to a positive working environment
  • Customer service, administration or sales experience would be beneficial, but is not essential

Working Hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working on a rotating shift pattern:
  • 7:30am – 3:30pm
  • 8:30am – 4:30pm
