CNC Laser Operative
Location: Sutton In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire (On-site)
Salary: £35,000-45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

The Role
As a CNC Laser Operative, you will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machinery, ensuring the accurate processing of materials to required specifications and maintaining high standards of quality throughout production.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines safely and efficiently.
- Interpret and work from technical and engineering drawings.
- Manually load steel materials onto machines.
- Monitor production quality and ensure components meet specifications.
- Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance activities.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to achieve production targets.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience operating CNC laser machinery.
- The ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience manually loading steel and handling raw materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
