Are you a Site Engineer with at least 3 years’ experience looking to join a growing contractor delivering a variety of civil engineering and construction projects across the East Midlands?
Our client is an established and reputable contractor with a strong pipeline of work, offering an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Engineer to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking business.
The Role Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting out works using Total Station equipment
- Managing and monitoring earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations and substructure works
- Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
- Producing material take-offs and assisting with procurement
- Monitoring progress against programme
- Maintaining quality standards and site documentation
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and environmental requirements
- Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Site Engineer position
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience within civil engineering, groundworks, infrastructure or construction projects
- Competent in the use of Total Station equipment
- AutoCAD experience
- Strong understanding of drainage, roads and earthworks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
