The Opportunity
As Management Accountant, you’ll play a central role in providing financial insight and supporting business performance. This is a varied position offering excellent exposure across the organisation and the chance to contribute beyond traditional finance responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts and performance reporting
- Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial plans
- Delivering meaningful financial analysis to support decision-making
- Supporting senior stakeholders with commercial and operational insights
- Monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Managing month-end processes, reconciliations and balance sheet controls
- Supporting cash flow planning and broader financial management activities
- Assisting with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
- Contributing to the development of systems, controls and reporting processes
- Playing an active role in driving efficiencies across the finance function
About You
We’re keen to hear from candidates who can combine strong technical accounting skills with a commercial mindset and a proactive approach.
You’ll likely have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications, be actively studying towards qualification, or be an experienced Qualified by Experience (QBE) finance professional
- Previous experience within a Management Accountant or similar finance role
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with financial data
- The ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business
- A proactive approach and genuine interest in improving processes and performance
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
