Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and accountable culture.
- Drive commercial performance, profitability and achievement of business targets.
- Oversee the retail sales strategy for commercial vehicles, maximising returns and market opportunities.
- Manage vehicle asset lifecycles to optimise residual values and control costs.
- Develop and communicate the strategic vision for the business unit.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure vehicle availability meets market demand.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators.
- Present performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation and operational improvement.
- Ensure exceptional levels of customer service remain at the heart of the operation.
We’re seeking a commercially astute leader with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational management.
You will ideally possess:
- Proven experience in a senior commercial, operational or business unit leadership role.
- Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets, profitability and business performance.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to influence and build strong relationships across multiple departments.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- A proactive, resilient and results-driven approach.
- Experience within commercial vehicles, fleet, leasing, rental, transport, logistics or a related sector would be advantageous.
