Key Responsibilities
- Support periodic financial close and reporting activity
- Prepare and review accounting adjustments, including accruals and prepayments
- Maintain and review balance sheet items to ensure accuracy and control
- Assist in the preparation of financial information for senior management
- Liaise with external advisers in support of audit and statutory requirements
- Work collaboratively with non‑finance teams to resolve queries and improve processes
- Support payment runs and cash‑related controls
- Provide flexible support across the wider finance function as require
- Newly or part‑qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience in industry or making your first move from practice
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles and controls
- Confident Excel user with experience of finance systems
- Organised, detail‑focused and keen to develop
- Clear communicator able to work effectively with non‑finance stakeholders
- Ambitious and motivated to progress into a senior finance role
