This role will suit someone who thrives on variety and wants to take ownership of core finance processes, contribute to business planning, and build strong relationships across departments. Depending on your level of experience, this opportunity could suit either an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant ready for a step up, or a more experienced individual seeking a fresh challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Produce accurate and timely monthly reporting including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
- Provide cost centre reporting and variance analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Deliver insights and financial modelling to guide investment decisions and pricing strategies.
- Perform reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial data across key ledgers.
- Collaborate on internal controls and help drive finance best practices.
- Support finance systems developments and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in audit preparation and assist with statutory submissions.
- Assist with a broad range of ad hoc financial projects across the business.
About You:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA / ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident communicator able to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility.

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday, based on-site in a well-connected East Midlands location with free parking.
