Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Excellent Benefits
Office based for the first 6 months, then will move to become a hybrid role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the construction and civil engineering sector for an experienced Marketing Officer to join their growing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver marketing activities to promote projects, services, and company branding.
- Create engaging content including photography, graphics, video content, and digital assets.
- Produce infographics, presentations, brochures, promotional materials, and marketing collateral.
- Manage and develop content across social media platforms, websites, press releases, and short-form video channels.
- Support the planning and delivery of events, project launches, site visits, and promotional activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
- Coordinate multiple marketing projects in line with strategic marketing plans.
- Maintain marketing budgets and contribute to internal management and board reports.
- Monitor industry trends and identify innovative marketing opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support business-wide marketing initiatives.
- Support community engagement and social value activities.
- Ensure all communications reflect company values, culture, and brand standards.
- Third-level qualification in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role.
- Experience within the construction, engineering, or built environment sector would be advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Canva.
- Experience producing photography, video content, and editing digital media.
- Strong creativity with the ability to develop concepts through to finished marketing outputs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
