The Role As an Injection Moulding Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Setting and operating plastic injection moulding machines
- Programming and adjusting machine parameters to ensure optimum performance
- Conducting machine start-ups, changeovers and process improvements
- Monitoring production quality and output levels
- Troubleshooting process and machine issues
- Ensuring products are manufactured to the required specifications
- Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
- Previous plastics injection moulding experience
- Experience setting and operating injection moulding machinery
- Ability to understand and adjust processing parameters
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience with ARBURG injection moulding machines
- Experience within high-volume manufacturing environments
- Blow moulding or extrusion moulding experience
- Basic salary of £32,500
- 15% shift premium, taking earnings to approximately £37,375
- Monday to Friday working pattern
