The opportunity

Key responsibilities (Finance BP-leaning)
- Month-end support including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet control
- Produce and explain management information with clear narrative and variance commentary
- Partner with budget holders to support budgeting, forecasting and spend control
- Help build KPI reporting and improve the quality/consistency of performance information
- Provide insight to support operational decision-making (costs, trends, risks, opportunities)
- Support continuous improvement across reporting and finance processes
- Part-qualified or newly qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Strong month-end fundamentals (accruals / prepayments / reconciliations)
- Comfortable engaging stakeholders and challenging constructively
- Analytical mindset (able to spot themes, not just produce numbers)
- Confident with Excel and working in a fast-moving environment
- Driven, ambitious, desire to influence change, decision making and process development
