The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain significant responsibility early on, work closely with senior leadership, and build long‑term career prospects within an ambitious practice.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and delivery of audit assignments for a diverse and expanding client portfolio. Leicester based clients, no long distance travel.
Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, charities, and sole traders.
Undertake management accounts work and bookkeeping support where required.
Work directly with clients, offering high‑quality service and helping strengthen relationships as our client base grows through acquisition.
Support senior team members on–site and remotely, ensuring audit files are completed accurately and efficiently.
Contribute to process improvements within the team as we scale operations.
About You
AAT Qualified / Part‑qualified ACCA / ACA
Experience working within an accountancy practice, ideally in a mixed role covering both audit and accounts. However, if you are currently in one of these areas and wish to broaden your skillset, training will be available
Solid understanding of accounting standards and/or audit principles.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growing environment where adaptability is valued.
Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage directly with clients.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to contribute to a practice that is expanding and evolving.
