Do you currently look after Private Clients but seeking a more dynamic role? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established SRA-regulated law firm specialising in Wills, Probate & Estate Planning. They an innovative, SRA-regulated law firm with a mission to change the way people think about making a Will. With a strong nationwide network, they specialise in protecting not only financial assets but emotional legacies for future generations.
They are now seeking an experienced Head of Probate to lead and grow their Probate Division. This is a key leadership role for someone with a strong legal background, commercial awareness, and a passion for people development and exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities…
Lead, mentor, and support Probate Managers and Legal Advisors across the UK.
Oversee high-quality legal service delivery and ensure SRA compliance.
Drive employee engagement and a culture of continuous improvement.
Handle a small number of complex matters as needed.
Monitor team performance and support growth of the division.
Enhance client journeys and resolve any complaints with fairness and empathy.
Contribute to marketing, referral growth, and commercial development.
What You’ll Bring…
Ideally a Qualified Solicitor with 10 years PQE
Strong legal background in probate or high-volume private client law.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams in a legal setting.
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Commercial focus, with experience managing targets or budgets.
Passion for delivering client-focused services and supporting team development.
