Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Customer Service Assistant on behalf of a well-known business in the Mansfield area on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting into the Mortgage Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for providing effective and exemplary Customer Service, as well as providing an effective service for mortgage administration, from application to completion.
Responsibilities

To process new applications for mortgage finance
To carry out a variety of administration tasks in relation to any of the existing mortgage customers
To deliver good customer service in a professional, accurate and efficient manner
To liaise with other staff, customers and external contacts as and when required, by telephone, e-mail and letter
To access, update and administer the relevant mortgage computer records as required
To participate in, and occasionally lead on, certain project work in the Mortgage Department.
General To carry out all duties as detailed and in accordance with documented policies and procedures
To prepare and collate management information in accordance with laid down procedures and standards
To ensure an effective contribution to the team targets/objectives as laid down are achieved.
To carry out all duties taking into account the regulatory requirements relating to the responsibilities of the mortgage team.

Ideal Person
Previous face to face or telephone based Customer Service
Knowledge of Mortgages is desirable but not essential
Excellent Microsoft Office skills and knowledge
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor with a confident and outgoing personality to join a small and friendly environment in an established business as they look to continue to build and develop their organisation

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Benefits: Annual bonus scheme, 22 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holiday pro rata
