Job Description

Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a Tender and Contracts Administrator on behalf of a growing and fast paced client in the West Leicestershire area.

Reporting into the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and co-ordination of tender submission for winning business bids.

Main responsibilities:

-Completion and submission or pre-tender, tender and post- tender documentation
-Supporting the team to articulate tender responses
-Maintain up to date the documentation relating to quotations and tenders
-Answer queries from customers and sales staff about products and pricing
-Maintain records of tender submissions and resultant win/loss

Essential attributes:

-Excellent English both written and verbal
-Sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

-Agile learner
-Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
-Open to change

Desirable:

-Knowledge of public procurement processes
-Experience in using business web portals
-Experience in tendering/bidding
-Understanding of the tender/bid process from sales perspective
-Previous experience working in medical equipment and services
