Consumer Insight Manager
Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a highly reputable and well known Global Organisation in Leicestershire. The role of CMI Manager is on a 6 month temporary basis although there is the possibility this could be extended. The role will be based between Leicestershire and London.
Pro-actively communicate relevant consumer, shopper and market insights, and guide business critical decisions.
Build long-term and strategic knowledge from research
Increase success rates of the initiatives with best in class research planning
Leverage existing research and secondary data to provide knowledge management
Qualify new products in the early stages of idea development through our concept screening process and leverage learnings to improve success rates in the future
Qualify new copy from early stages of development to in-market performance
Qualify other elements of the marketing mix, such as pricing, product, pack etc.
Support a front end innovation platform as required
Work with the CMI Centres of Expertise (CoE)
Coordinate the research plans for the brand board with local CMI resources to maximize overall incremental knowledge.
Engage local CMI resources, external consultants and agencies to deliver the learning plan
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or Human Sciences)
Minimum 8 years plus of work experience in deploying consumer insights
Familiar with a wide range of both qualitative and quantitative consumer research methods Demonstrated ability to articulate business needs into research objectives
Basic understanding of syndicated measures across various data sources (sales, media, etc.) Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make actionable recommendations
Vendor management or experience managing external partners
Experience in working in a multi-country/cultural working environment (global or regional), ideally with experience in both emerging and developed markets
Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and management teams
Good communication skills, including insightful communication of analytical data & insight
Enjoys working in and creating collaborative relationships
Drives and delivers consistent results, can set own priorities and manage and measure own work, can get their own point across with commanding voice
Understands & Executes Research Effectively
A strong understanding of syndicated data, measures and organisation of information
A passion and curiosity for understanding the consumer
Strong ability to connect the dots into the big picture and learn and apply new information
