Training Lead | £33,000 | Burton-On-Trent
Cherry Professional are delighted to be working alongside a thriving, Burton-based business to recruit a knowledgeable Training Lead. The successful candidate will sit within a dedicated function and shape and deliver the training function to ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to complete their roles. Working cross functionally, you will develop and enhance business and client training, resulting in improved customer satisfaction, quality of service and compliance with the business and client standards of excellence.
The Role:
Training curriculum
Review the Training Matrix with the relevant Department/Unit heads to ensure that training requirements are appropriate to the roles and that trainings are delivered at the appropriate time point.
Ensure the Training Matrix is implemented effective.
Make certain the Training Matrix includes training requirements for new starters, those moving role and for refresher trainings as required.
Arrange a periodic review of training curriculums.
Work with employees, manager and department heads to identify individuals training needs.
Procedure/Process Training
Confirm relevant and appropriate levels of training are delivered for procedures.
Ensure all training related procedures are aligned and comply with regulations and requirements.
Lead the training related procedures.
Ensure roles are trained on procedures in a pragmatic and compliant fashion.
Training System
Working with L&D and others to ensure that the training material is optimised to provide prompt and efficient management and delivery of training for employees and contractors.
Training & development
Compile a training grid for staff training and awareness training.
Have a training plan for new staff.
Have training slides for company refresher training.
Have training slide sets for specific company functions.
Have training slide sets for specific company functions.
Employ various teaching approaches, learning styles and channels.
Train new starters in case processing during on boarding and sign off.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in Training/Learning and Development.
Proven track-record of designing and executing training within a regulated organisation.
Practical delivery of core and soft skills training to small and large groups.
Customer focused, with excellent inter-personal skills and abilities in managing stakeholders and matrix teams
Experience in developing and leading training.
Must communicate professionally, clearly, concisely and consistently to external and internal customers, both verbally and in writing.
Must demonstrate professional presentation skills and deliver informative and balanced presentations.
Knowledge of learning theory and applied practice.
Analytical skills to identify learning needs and evaluate training interventions.
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks while under pressure.
