Cherry Professional are working with an educational trust who are looking to recruit for a Finance Assistant. This role offers flexible working, full time hours on a temporary and permanent basis. Work for a team that wants to make a difference in young people’s lives.
-Maintaining the Purchase and Sales Ledger and ensuring that all documents are recorded correctly.
-Ensuring all supplier statements are reconciled and differences resolved.
-Matching delivery notes to invoices and filing.
-Ensuring Employee expenses are correctly recorded and posted.
-Resolving supplier issues before they become material problem.
-Monitoring and assessing customer accounts and credit limits.
-Cash input and allocation/reconciliation of Bank Statements.
-Chasing unpaid invoices and dealing with invoice/debit note queries.
-Working to monthly deadlines.
-Ad Hoc administration duties.
Skills and experience:
-Knowledge of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and general accounting procedures.
-Ability to interact on all personnel levels.
-Computer literate in Microsoft office, excel and email.
-Ability to work as a team but able to show initiative.
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, work to tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
