Senior Payroll Manager - Leicester - £55,000 - £70,000 per annum

Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Manager for an award winning multi-site organisation based in Leicestershire.
The purpose of this role is to take full control of a payroll function that is responsible for timely and accurate processing payroll whilst also ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements. You will also be passionate about developing your team and grow their skills to ensure that your people are delivering exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
-Be the subject matter expert for all things payroll within the Senior Finance Team
-Ensuring payroll team deliver accurate and timely processing of payroll tasks
-Day to day management and development of a payroll team
-Analysing and reporting of all payroll related data
-Be a part of all payroll related projects
-Maintain payroll legislative knowledge to ensure the organisation are up to date with all legislative changes
-Ensure that all GDPR requirements and policies are maintained
-Support the payroll team through all periods of change and projects
-Ensure continuous improvement within the payroll department
Ideal Candidate
-CIPP qualification (desirable, but not essential)
-Experienced payroll manager with significant line manager experience
-Technically up to date with all payroll related legislation
-Analytical with strong excel skills
-Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
-Change and Project Management experience
