Cherry Professional are currently working with a well-established organisation based in Nottingham to recruit a Senior Business Development Excutive. They pride themselves on their commitment to excellence and quality of service they provide to the customer.
You will be reporting to the UK Sales & Marketing Manager. This role will require you to have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload. You will be required to travel to London twice a month, with the odd stopover where all expenses will be covered.
Contact prospects and build relationships to obtain new business opportunities.
Maintain and develop existing relationships with healthcare professionals in the public and private sector.
You will visit existing and prospective partner organisations to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
Assist in planning and preparing all presentations for training healthcare professionals.
Ensure all records are accurate and updated on the CRM system.
To work towards weekly/monthly KPI’S, and update Sales & Marketing Manager every week.
You will attend at least two events per month in London.
The ideal candidate will have
Previous experience in a business development role.
Previous experience working within the healthcare sector is desired but not essential.
Excellent communication & relationship building skills.
Able to plan and prioritise your workload.
Excellent negotiation and objection handling skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and be able to adapt to using the companies CRM system.
You will need to be empathetic and solution focused.
