Cherry Professional are recruiting for an expanding business, based in Ashbourne, who are seeking to employ a Sales Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis.
This role presents a brilliant opportunity to work for a household brand who are very well known throughout their marketplace. You will be working with an engaging finance department in a valued and well established team. The option for study support and one to one mentoring from the Financial Controller would be a clear example of how well this business treats their employees.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Sales Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the start to finish sales ledger function as well as expenses and credit control. This is a very visible position where you will be partnering with departmental manager, dealing with queries and ensuring cash flow remains strong.
Processing of sales invoices
Analysis of month end data and preparation of journals
Creating and posting credit notes
Investigating and resolving of any customer queries
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Supporting the credit control team in reducing aged debt.
A minimum of two years' experience working in Sales Ledger or Credit Control
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Strong attention to detail
Great communication skills and have the ability to speak finance to none-finance people
Excellent organisational skills and have the ability to meet deadlines.
