Purchasing Assistant | Part Time | Derbyshire | Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 09:00 am – 5:30 pm

Cherry Professional are working with a international, growing business who are looking to recruit a part time purchasing assistant on a temporary basis for 6 months. The ideal candidate with have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining focus and prioritising workload in line with business requirement as well as highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.


Responsibilities:
Creating and updating Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy of data in the ERP system
Checking proforma invoices
Checking shipping documentation and building records for booking goods in
Dealing with inbound queries from internal departments
Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to update on arrival of new products
Proofing marketing materials to ensure range information listed is accurate
 Support the team in compiling, updating and running central documentation.
Conduct regular housekeeping of key product attributes


Key skills:
Previous experience working in a merchandising position
Knowledge of import freight is desirable but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
IT Literate, especially in Microsoft Excel
Experience of Dynamics Nav is desirable but not essential
