Purchase Ledger Assistant| Up to £24,000 | Leicestershire

Cherry Professional currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant based within the Loughborough area. Very much a well established business who are thriving in their area of expertise. You will be responsible for proving purchase ledger support reporting to the Transactions Finance Manager, working within a dynamic climate.

Responsibilities:

Daily posting of bank payments onto the accounting system
Updating supplier accounts
Allocating purchase order numbers in line with delivery notes
Processing payments and expenses
Supplier statement reconciliation
Booking in stock received ensuring these are correct against shipment documents
Dealing with any supplier enquiries
Carrying out various administrative duties

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience within a purchase ledger 
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Team player who is able to work within a fast paced environment
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
IT literate with a good working knowledge of excel
Good organisational skills
