Purchase Ledger Assistant - Nottinghamshire - £22k

We are currently recruiting for a purchase ledger assistant to work for a well established business based in Nottingham City Centre.   You will be joining a close knit team and be responsible for the general ledger duties.  This role is office based and offer flexible hours covering a 35 hour working week.

Responsibilities: 

Setting up and validating new suppliers
Entering invoices onto the system and organising authorisations
Dealing with any supplier queries
Updating the system with payments 
Creating payment information
Looking after the general inbox, dealing with any enquiries
Supplier statement reconciliation 
Calculating expenses
General administration as required


Ideal Candidate: 

Experience within an accounts or purchase ledger role
IT literate with a good working knowledge of excel
Good communication skills at all levels
Able to prioritise workloads
