Purchase Ledger Clerk | Nottinghamshire | £19.5k

Currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to work within a thriving business in Long Eaton.  You will be working within a small close knit team,  fast paced environment and be responsible for looking after a number of suppliers. 

Responsibilities:

Processing purchase invoices, including matching and coding
Checking against purchase orders
Gaining authorisation ready for payment
Organising payment runs
Dealing with any enquiries and queries coming into the department
Updating the system with payments going out
Reconciling against the bank.
Being the point of escalation 
Assisting with managing the team 

Ideal Candidate: 

Previous experience working within a purchase ledger department
Good attention to detail
IT literate with good working knowledge of excel
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work within a fast paced environment
Able to work to deadlines
