They have an opportunity for a project coordinator/accounts assistant to join them on a temporary, on going basis.

Responsibilities:

You will work within the developing accounts department and report to the Financial Manager. You will be responsible for providing accounting assistance to the project managers (PM's) and perform key weekly and monthly tasks within the accounts team.

A list of key responsibilities is outlined below:

  • Weekly monitoring of timesheet completion, timesheet upload into Sage and production of KPI's
  • Weekly time and material charge sheet generation for reporting to clients
  • Raising of invoices to clients for time and material projects, liaising with clients to provide any additional documentation required
  • Maintaining cost monitoring across all projects and reviewing with PM's on a monthly basis
  • Updating % complete and budget figures in Sage
  • Raising supplier purchase orders on request of PM's
  • Booking in customer purchase orders into Sage and maintaining project files
  • Creation of new projects & closing of old projects in Sage/Cherwell
  • Prepare PM slides/reports for internal/external reporting
  • Other adhoc tasks as required

Key Experience

Knowledge and experience with the following would be beneficial:

  • Sage 50 Accounts
  • Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
