Procurement Systems Coordinator | £20,000 - £35,000 | Derby
Cherry Professional are working alongside a nation wide organisation to recruit a meticulous and organised Procurement Systems Coordinator to join their Procurement team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of critical day-to-day Procurement Systems Administration on behalf of the Procurement team, whilst also helping enable the timely delivery of Procurement projects and the associated hitting & exceeding of Procurement and wider financial targets.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership, management, and maintenance of Procurement master data (material & warranty masters, contract masters, pricing, and sourcing rules) within the Oracle P2P system, ensuring new records are created and issues with existing records are resolved within agreed SLAs
- Liaising with Category Managers and suppliers to correct ensure pricing is reflected in Oracle at all times
- Provision of analytical support to the Category Managers with analysis on parts, pricing, volumes, tenders etc
- Manning the shared Procurement email inbox
- Actively identifying route-causes of weaknesses with the Procurement systems and associated processes, and working with stakeholders to develop and implement improvements
- Supporting the Programme Manager with the coordination and administration of other tasks as and when required
- Supporting the Programme Manager in proactively socialising new tools/dashboards/reports etc developed for the benefit of the Category Managers to promote a self-service culture
- Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes
- Occasionally raising purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs)

The ideal candidate should:
- Extensive experience in the use of enterprise systems such as Oracle or SAP
- Be comfortable working with large datasets and vast volumes of data
- Be comfortable working with large datasets and vast volumes of data
- Be comfortable working at pace in a challenging environments subject to frequent change
- Good level on MS Excel e.g. pivot tables, formulas, data type conversions etc
- Good general level of IT skills, e.g. word processors, email, presentations
