Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a Permanent, Full Time, Procurement Officer for their Mansfield based client.
The role will be to provide an efficient procurement service which delivers optimal value for money, cost savings and high quality service.
Ensuring all current suppliers are approved by an agreed target date and selected for the type of procurement supply.
Ensuring all new suppliers are approved by an agreed target date and selected for the type of procurement supply.
Maintaining a record of approved suppliers which is accessible.
Assisting the company to obtain approval where a new supplier is identified locally including a review of currently approved suppliers to ensure that additional capacity is required
Creating a supplier assessment process and an audit regime for key contractors systems.
Reviewing expenditure and identifying where central purchasing opportunities exist.
Identifying expenditure and advise & assist where saving could be made
Work as directed by the CFO on specific areas to enable cost efficiencies to be achieved
Leading and managing procurement processes which require Tender Management >£50k and under EU threshold.
Providing information to finance for Monthly Management Accounts.
Scan Orders and other associated documents and matching to transactions within Sage.
Providing information for Financial Year End requirements.
Statutory Reporting if required.
Establishing service level and evaluation criteria
