Cherry Professional are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent, Procurement Manager for their Lincoln based client.
Your role will be to manage all the procurement activities and maintain the sustainability of existing supply chains in line with company strategy, targets and budgets.
To provide timely, up to date, precise and accurate data / information on contract management and provide advice to the Senior Management Team on commercial decisions.
To deliver value for money on all purchased goods and services through effective procurement processes.
To develop and maintain effective Procurement, Contracting and Relationship Management processes including transparent metrics to allow monitoring of performance.
To manage risks associated with all procurement activity.
Overall responsibility for the management of procurement processes across the business, including supplier engagement, development of specification and execution of the full tender process through to award.
Developing and implementing innovative procurement processes and metrics to support gaining value for money.
Developing and implementing a Stakeholder Management Plan for all key stakeholders both internal and external.
Implementation of current e-tendering module to fit the needs of the business and support the initiative to gain value for money through all processes.
Assist in the bidding process for new tender opportunities when required to support the growth plan.
Business Degree or equivalent.
MCIPS or working towards (preferred)
