Procurement & Logistics Administrator | £20,000 - £22,000 | Alfreton

Cherry Professional are working alongside a global, market leading business to recruit a dynamic Procurement & Logistics Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Procurement & Logistics Team’s day-to-day national and international function. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for their next step on the career ladder into an exciting field.

Key responsibilities:
Administer and respond to quote requests.
Place orders with national and international suppliers.
Coordinate goods deliveries to UK and overseas Users.
Check goods and delivery documents conform to orders.
Receive goods into stock and coordinate allocation and dispatch to users.
Check and administer suppliers’ invoices.
Keep up-to-date and accurate records of all transactions.
Actively participate in the Business’ on-going project of building a strong sustainable Procurement & Logistics base for the Business.
Undertake any operational and administrative tasks that may be reasonably requested.
Demonstrate flexibility and a degree of creativity in supporting the team.

Core skills:
Ability to work accurately to deadlines in a busy environment.
Excellent written/oral communication skills with ability to present information to all levels.
Confident, hands-on approach with an aptitude for team work and problem solving.
Solid administration and organizational skills with good attention to detail.
Some moderate lifting and handling skills required.
Good understanding of currencies and exchange rates functions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Previous employment in manufacturing / warehousing / stock management desirable.
