Cherry professional are excited to be working on an exclusive basis with progressive and rapidly expanding, Burton-based client to recruit an experienced Pricing Controller to working in their dynamic finance function. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team to ensure correct pricing is charged to valued clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to grow within the finance sector.
Create and maintain price lists and ensure all relevant departments are aware of pricing changes.
Take pricing queries from the Query and Service Delivery teams and investigate the root cause of issues.
Run and validate monthly Rebate and Service Fee reports.
Deal with any pricing rebate queries.
Ensure that details of new contracted products which are notified to the Pricing team are communicated to the business.
Work with Purchasing to ensure new lines are set up at the correct price, and the Product Pad and Contracts Team to ensure that Product Pads are kept up to date.
Update D365 and relevant systems with missing prices for new products.
Maintain database of contracted products, prices, and expiry dates.
Complete any ad hoc reporting on pricing changes and queries as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in working in a financial environment in an administrative, pricing or credit control role.
Commercial experience in liaising directly with customers.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Well-developed numerical ability.
Focus on root cause analysis and resolving problems.
Works collaboratively with others; team oriented.
Takes a self-motivated, energetic and positive approach to work.
Displays well developed planning & organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks effectively.
Flexible and adapts well to change.
