Cherry Professional are excited to be working with an ambitious business based in Aston; Birmingham in the recruitment of a Payroll Coordinator on a full time basis.
Our client are actively seeking a motivated, personable and enthusiastic Payroll Leader to build up and maintain a busy payroll department. This role presents a brilliant opportunity to work in a well-established business for an easily recognisable brand where you can make a real impact.
The business has seen year on year growth and prides itself on developing a friendly working environment, where it has seen fantastic staff retention and has developed a brilliant reputation within their market. This is a standalone position where the Payroll Manager will be responsible for maintaining all elements of payroll across the business.
Monthly end to end Payroll Processing (approx. 300 employees)
HMRC reporting and payments
Processing statutory payments (SMP, SSP etc.)
Year End Processing
P11D's, P60's, P45 processing
Administration of company benefits (Pension Scheme, Childcare Vouchers, PMI etc.)
Handling queries and data requests
Creating and implementing new standard operating procedures and processes
Payroll experience essential (ideally in a standalone capacity)
Setting up new standard operating procedures
Ability to work alone and use initiative to solve problems
Sage 50 Payroll experience desirable
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Highly organised and conscientious
Attention to detail
What will you get in return:
Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Bonus - Dependant on Company and individual performance
Pension - Company will contribute 4% of salary pa to a Group Personal Pension Plan after 3 month probationary period
