Cherry Professional are recruiting for a great business in Chesterfield who are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave period.
The role and responsibilities
Processing payroll for approx 350 employees using SAGE 50
Supporting the HR Manager and Finance Director in day to day duties
Update the Company’s payroll software (Sage) to ensure an accurate monthly payroll
Supporting with pay quires and supporting the HR Manager in the collation relevant employee information upon request.
Receive updates on new starters, leavers, and any other pay-related matters.
Providing regular updates to the HR Manager on outstanding documentation relating to (but not limited to) new starts, sickness, age-related NMW increases etc. K
Keeping accurate holiday and sickness information for the business on a month by month basis
Pension administration including Auto Enrolment, sending out correspondence etc.
What we are looking for from you
At least 2 years of experience in a payroll role
Good knowledge of IT systems
Meticulous & Self-Motivated
Can work autonomously
Good Communication Skills
Pro-Active and Confident
