Operations Manager | Nottingham | 12 Month Contract | Flexible working | £50,000 + Bonus

Cherry Professional are working with a long-standing Financial Services partner, to recruit an Operations Manager based in Nottingham for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This global business offers employees some fantastic benefits, as well as a holiday allowance you’d struggle to find anywhere else! If this sounds like you and you then we’d love to hear from you. This role operates under a hybrid working model and you will be required to be in the Nottingham office 3 days a week. The other two days you will work from home.

The business is prevalent within their specific field and has a strong national and international presence. The role will suit someone who has a strong understanding of governance risk and control frameworks within a regulated industry. You will be able to confidently use data to make measured business led decisions and confidently communicate such changes to senior stakeholders. Reporting into the Head of Operations you will be involved in a business critical project looking at how information is recorded and reported. Due to the nature of the role we are looking for someone with outstanding communication skills who can influence senior stakeholders where necessary.


The role…

- Find solutions when issues are raised and ensure that processes and procedures within the operations department are as efficient and streamlined as possible.
- Support with the management of the credit control function.
- Produce MI information from the operations department and provide relevant commentary.
- Provide support across the whole department, prioritising specific areas in line business needs.
- Support the Head of Operations with the completion of business critical work and projects.

 
The Ideal Candidate….

- Proven experience in a Senior Management/Leadership role.
 - Experience within a regulated industry would be an advantageous.
 - Proven experience in a professional services environment.
 - Excellent communication skills.  
 - Demonstrate good attention to detail.
 - Ability to support change within the department and react promptly to new business needs.
 - Ability to supervise a team and drive results.
 - Advanced knowledge of Excel.
