Cherry Professional are working alongside a Burton based, well established business to recruit a Legal Administrator to temporarily support their legal function. The successful candidate will have a strong and adaptable administrative skill set and be able to work well as part of a thriving team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enhance their legal or administrative career.
Support the Head of Legal and the legal team with administrative tasks and effectively liaise with internal stakeholders and external customers as required.
Gather accurate, relevant, and adequate information as part of the legal instruction form standard operating procedure.
Initiate and monitor follow-up actions with legal team and internal / external stakeholders.
Attend legal department meetings, and where required company meetings and take accurate minutes of meetings when required.
Support other members of the Legal and Legal Support team.
Draft standard documentation (e.g. NDAs, SLAs) under the supervision of a senior member of the team.
Contribute to the delivery of an effective, efficient legal service.
Manage the Senior Leader diary, supporting to make the most efficient and effective use of their time/resources.
Maintain accurate and timely records in Legal team case management.
Maintain an effective filing system, being able to retrieve requested files and documents with minimum delay.
Prepare written correspondence, demonstrating a high standard of English and skilled use of Word, on behalf of legal team as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in working in legal services preferred.
Adopts a quality focused approach to work, pays attention to detail.
Well-developed planning & organisational skills with the ability to assess and meet priorities through good time management.
Able to prioritise workload, manage time, multi-task and meet stringent deadline.
Displays high levels of personal integrity, including respecting the confidentiality of information.
Ability and drive to develop skills.
Strong IT Skills (MS Office packages).
What’s On Offer?
