The purpose of this role is to assist with the growth plans at Cherry. You will do this by ensuring that we are attracting the top talent in the market.  You will work closely with the Senior Management Team, Marketing Team and key external stakeholders to ensure that Cherry Professional is the first thought when talented recruiters are looking for their next career move.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Map out the recruitment market to ensure we know where the top talent is currently operating and that they are aware of our offering.
Manage end to end activities regarding all internal talent acquisition - to include headhunting, pre-screening, advertising, engagement, interviewing, assessment and managing the offer process. 
Develop and manage the attraction plan.
Talent pooling for future roles.
Work with the Marketing team to co-ordinate activities to attract and engage with potential talent – this includes thought leadership articles, mailers, blogs, video, events, candidate experience, website (work for us page) and social media activities.
Liaise with rec to recs to ensure that they are fully engaged with our recruitment plans. 
Manage the relationship with local Universities – present at student events. 
Liaise with apprenticeship providers. 
Develop the Employee Value Proposition
Ensure all new starters get an engaging and thorough induction. 
Assist line managers with new employee on-boarding. 
Be a brand ambassador – ensure the values are lived and breathed. 
Maintain and update the internal talent database. 
Work with the Senior Management Team to ensure that all L&D activities are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. 
Work with the Senior Management Team to develop the people plan and effectively co-ordinate activities around the employee life-cycle / journey. 
Co-ordination of people related project work – such as annual employee engagement survey. 

Desirable Skills and Experience 

Proven track record of recruiting in a professional sector. 
High level of emotional intelligence. 
Ability to influence at a senior level and build strong relationships. 
Excellent stakeholder management skills. 
A well organised, self-starter who can manage their own workload. 
Excellent IT skills - Bullhorn, LinkedIn, Idibu, Job Boards as well as Office 365 package.

What’s on offer 

£25-28k per annum salary.
31 days holiday (including stats) and rising on service.   
Fixed term contract (6 months) or permanent considered. 
Part time 25-30 hours.
