Cherry Professional are recruiting for an Experienced Recruiter for their client based in Derby. This role is to manage the end to end resourcing and talent attraction process. You will be responsible for further development of an excellent in house recruitment service.

Key accountabilities

  • Support the Resourcing Manager in the implementation and delivery of the resourcing strategy and associated projects to meet the demands of the pipeline in line with the University's strategy
  • Actively utilise all relevant recruitment resources and social media, in line with our brand and values, to promote career opportunities and to increase the number of direct hires, including the ownership of sourcing and screening such candidates
  • Keep the Resourcing Manager and the HR team up to date on the progress of vacancies and drive action to keep momentum where required
  • Complete weekly and monthly recruitment analysis for the Resourcing Manager
  • Manage the recruitment budget and provide regular updates on cost savings and recruitment spend to the business, highlighting ways to increase return on investment and value for money
  • Support the production and communication of appropriate KPIs to monitor recruitment activity and to ensure a focus on continuous improvement, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process in conjunction with the Recruitment and HR Assistants
  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with key agencies / recruitment providers
  • Work closely with the Resourcing Manager to understand current and predicted recruitment demand; agreeing a delivery plan against open vacancies
  • Support the Resourcing Manager to develop the Employer Brand to promote and support activity to drive forward the goal of making the University an employer of choice
  • Support the Resourcing Manager with compliance requirements
  • Manage the re-deployment process within the Recruitment team ensuring all queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively


  • Minimum 2 years recruitment experience
