ICT Officer | Permanent | Northampton | £25-30,000
Cherry Professional are pleased to be working with a brilliant, value focused company based in Northampton. We are seeking an ICT Officer to provide first and second line technical support to end users and support the delivery of MS Teams and SharePoint services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To create, manage and monitor MS Teams and SharePoint sites.
  • To develop and deliver automated workflow solutions using Power Automate and the Microsoft Power Platform and support the roll out and adoption of these solutions.
  • To provide first and second line technical support in the use of hardware, software and telecoms services and deliver baseline support activities.
  • To give advice, documentation and training to end users (both office-based users and those working remotely) in the use of a variety of different software packages, office systems, operating systems, printers and computer related services.
  • To support and maintain telephony and communication systems, specifically Office 365 email services and internal telephones systems linked to MS Teams.
  • To create and maintain documentation and initial support on the completed solutions.
  • To setup and configure Android, iOS and Windows client devices.
  • Assist with ICT project work and other day to day activities, as required.
  • Provide cover for other members of the ICT team, as required.
 
The Candidate:
  • Experience of delivering support, advice and training to end users.
  • Experience supporting the Microsoft 365 and using Office to a high level.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate.
  • Working knowledge of computer networks and Windows operating systems, including ADS, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
  • Experience of setting up and configuring Windows based devices.
  • Experience of systems testing.
  • Customer service skills with the ability to have empathy with end users and be able to relate problems and solutions in a nontechnical way.
  • Ability to manage, prioritise, and where appropriate escalate, competing demands.
  • Training and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to be flexible in relation to the range and scope of the duties.
  • Ability to be flexible in working hours, if required.
