HR Officer | Burton-on-Trent | £27,000-£32,000
Cherry Professional are working alongside a brilliant, people driven organisation to recruit a HR Officer to join an adaptable and driven HR team. This is a varied role for someone with experience at Officer level and requires someone to come in and hit the ground running. It is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop and take the next step in their HR career.

Key Responsibilities:
In conjunction with the recruitment team, coordinate, plan and deliver recruitment and staff selection programmes.
With the assistance of the HRD, support and advise management teams in all aspects of Human Resources and associated administration.
To work closely with management to ensuring they are fully informed and updated of all relevant HR, staffing and payroll matters.
Assist in the collation of payroll information for new starters and leavers, and contractual changes - forward to the Payroll department within key deadlines.
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by managers and staff teams, in particular the HR & GDPR related policy suite.

The Ideal Candidate:
An awareness of current Employment Law and best practice and the confidence to deal with a wide range of personnel issues.
Experience for at least 2 years within a busy HR/Personnel environment.
Previous experience in recruitment or selection of staff.
Confident and willing to conduct discipline, capability and grievance case work.
Computer literate with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to forge positive working relationships with senior staff.
Experienced in meeting regular deadlines.
Own means of transport.
