Are you an experienced HR Coordinator Do you want to join a well-established and reputable company? Do you want to work in a thriving and exciting team?
 
Cherry professional are working alongside an a Derby-based client, on the back of sustained success and development, to recruit and experienced and dedicated HR Coordinator on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be part of a tight-knit, hard working team to ensure smooth running of all HR function across the business. You will be providing professional HR support to managers and staff as part of the HR Shared Services Centre covering all parts of the employee lifecycle.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively liaise with potential new starters, and relevant third parties, to gather confirmation of relevant documentation to support offer of employment.
Initiate and monitor follow-up actions with Managers, Recruitment and HR colleagues to ensure employees commence employment as soon as possible.
Ensure that all areas of employee administration comply with all legal and statutory requirements applicable.
Maintain accurate and up to date electronic and manual HR records including using the HR system or filed in the employees personnel file.
Effectively liaise with potential new starters, and relevant third parties, to gather confirmation of relevant documentation to support offer of employment e.g. I.D. checks, proof of education, proof of qualifications, reference information, DBS and occupational health checks.
Develop trackers to monitor receipt of such information and liaise with relevant parties to expedite when needed.
Initiate and monitor follow-up actions with Managers, Recruitment and HR colleagues to ensure employees.
Ensure that all areas of employee administration comply with all legal and statutory requirements.
Provide effective administration support to HR Coordinators and wider HR team as required.
 
The ideal candidate
Experience of working in a dynamic HR administration environment.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working to tight deadlines and can prioritise multiple simultaneous tasks while maintaining outstanding customer service.
Great attention to detail and focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Good understanding of HR systems and data maintenance using customer service, work management and HR self-service business systems.
Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office with Excellent numerical calculation skills.
