HR Business Partner Nottinghamshire | Full-Time |  £45,000 - £50,000

Cherry Professional are delighted to be working with an organisation based in Nottinghamshire that are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner with diverse industry experience and HR knowledge. This role requires someone that can demonstrate proven success in generalist, partnering roles in fast paced, multi-location & complex businesses. 

The Role  

As part of the People Partnering team, you will support a range of stakeholders as HR Business Partner covering a North Midlands region.  
Responsibilities – 
  • Partner with stakeholders delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives 
  • Create and implement a People Plan for your business areas with actions that support the delivery of the overall group people strategy 
  • Focus areas will be organisational design, ensuring roles and structures are fit for purpose, talent attraction, retention and development to support succession planning 
  • Support Managers to proactively manage employee relations issues 
  • Work collaboratively with other People teams to deliver transformational change projects 
  • Support the engagement agenda and initiatives to drive improved engagement levels, positively impacting on people KPIs 
  • Act as a ‘trusted advisor’ to partners, providing valued & effective coaching & guidance 
  • Identify and build best practice people frameworks, solutions, process & tools that can be used in the business to enhance people/business performance to achieve our vision 
  • Act as a visible advocate for our purpose & values, creating an environment where our values are demonstrated consistently 
About you – 
  • Prior HR experience within retail is essential 
  • Experience as part of a high performing team within a highly customer centric service or retail environment 
  • Ability to establish effective relationships to collaborate, persuade and influence 
  • Able to shape & lead initiatives/change projects 
  • Can interpret and analyse data and propose actions to drive positive change 
  • Assertive, resilient and tenacious with the ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks
