Cherry Professional are working with a well-established client in the Nottinghamshire area to recruit a Payroll & HR Assistant due to accelerated growth in the business. You’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of a professional, highly efficient and customer focused People Team as well as providing support across a wide range of activities; ensuring accurate generation of all People administration.
Input weekly store hours and process weekly employment records.
Maintain accurate records of all hours, holidays, sickness and absence for all colleagues and report anomalies to the Head of People.
Process all data to be input into monthly payroll, ensuring we are compliant with UK legislation.
To provide overall direction for the day to day running of all Payroll & Pensions tasks, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.
Contribute towards the administration of annual activity such as salary and annual reviews.
Process all leavers issuing them with a leaver letter and P45 in a timely fashion.
Assist with running a HR audit process including processing all right to work checks.
Liaise with and support the Head of People with recognition activities
Responsible for dealing with all payroll queries and producing reports.
Issue employment change letters where required and update all supporting payroll information.
You’ll work collaboratively with the People Team to continue developing a world-class People function.
1 years’ experience in HR, Payroll, Office Management, Admin or similar is required.
Superb levels of attention to detail are required.
Competent Microsoft Excel user.
Must have the ability to prioritise large and varied workloads.
Able to maintain confidentiality to always ensure data security.
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
22 days holiday in the 1st year, additional holidays to be accrued.
Extra birthday holiday day.
