HR Advisor - Derby - 6 month contract
This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to be part of a fast paced and exciting body.
Able to provide effective HR solutions, improve employee lifecycle, support management and be available to answer first line queries for staff.
-Support all areas of the HR process's including disciplinaries, grievances, capabilities and provide expert advice to panel
-Proactively work with line managers and staff to support and address timekeeping issues, sickness and absences
-Support Line Managers with recruitment when it comes to advertising roles and interviewing prospective candidates
-Proactively manage both formal and informal HR cases and work collaboratively to provide support at all levels
-Contribute to changes regarding policy, frameworks and processes to adopt best practice approaches to reflect case law and legislation
-Ensure all case details & files, documentation and resolutions are accurately recorded including note taking
-Able to make recommendations when analysing trends and risk factors
-Liaise with trade unions to resolve issues
-Support the projects team to role out HR strategies
-HR generalist experience in a larger organisation
-Experience of working on HR projects from start to finish
-Excellent working knowledge of Employee and HR legislation
-Proven background in coaching and supporting Management teams
-Excellent communication skills
-Able to analyse and look at trends, reporting whilst working to tight deadlines
