HR Administrator- Long Eaton - Temporary to permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Administrator to join a small but friendly team to support the HR Manager in providing generalist support to all areas of the business. The successful candidate will help ensure that company policies, procedures and employment law are all adhered to.
This role would be perfect for someone who is looking for the next step in their HR career as they will be working towards HR Officer level.
Managing the Time and Attendance system to include holiday booking monitoring sickness
Responsibility for staff personnel files, including, generation, upkeep and
Staff inductions and management of review process with line managers
Facilitation of disciplinary meetings including documentation and minutes
On occasion, dealing with staff issues, with understanding and empathy
Managing annual appraisals of staff
Co-ordinating health and safety procedures
Production of offer letters, issuing new procedures and updating the Company Handbook
To ensure that revised legislation and company Employment Law is updated regularly
Ideally CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above
Interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all
Ability to analyse, interpret and explain employment law
Integrity, empathetic and approachable
Experience of working in an SME environment
