Head of L&D | Nottinghamshire | £70,000 - £85,000 DOE

Cherry Professional are currently working with a highly acquisitive organisation  based in Nottinghamshire.  You will form part of the Senior HR team and report directly to the HR Director.

As Head of Learning and Development you will be responsible for ensuring that all learning activities from apprenticeships, early careers, management development and leadership coaching is embedded into the organisation.  You will ensure that the L&D strategy is in line with the business objectives and that your team of L&D specialists are delivering exceptional learning sessions for all colleagues.

Some of the day to day duties will include: -

Lead the L&D team to promote learning at all levels of the organisation.
Develop the L&D strategy to ensure that it supports the business objectives.
Managing the L&D budget and ensure value for money.
Delivery of the L&D plan.
Work collaborately with the wider HR team on L&D related project work.
Identify learning needs for all areas of the business and ensure appropriate solutions are in place.
Design and implement blended learning solutions.
Talent planning.
Ensure legal compliance is met in all learning interventions.

Desirable skills and experience: -

A highly experienced L&D specialist with significant experience at a leadership level.
You will have led L&D functions and been personally responsible for seting strategy and delivering upon this.
Confidence when operating as part of a senior HR team.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Well developed communication skills.
An inspiring leader of people.
High energy and ambitious individual.
