Financial Reporting Manager | Leicestershire | Salary c£45k + benefits

 

Cherry Professional are delighted to be supporting a new client in the Leicestershire region with a key hire in to their Finance team.

The client is a global organisation currently undergoing a transformation across their finance function. As a result they have a couple of requirements in their financial accounting function as they hunt to bring in the region's top talent to bolster their ranks.

This would be an ideal 1st move for a recently qualified ACA looking to move into industry. This would also suit a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with existing relevant industry experience looking for a group role in an international business etc.

Role

  • Preparation and Reporting of Monthly/Quarterly and Annual results including relevant Analysis
  • Assistance with the production of all Statutory Accountants, both UKGAAP and IFRS
  • Co-ordination with external auditors and tax function
  • Assist with financial forecasting, interest, tax and dividends
  • Special Projects and Analysis on an ad-hoc basis
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Exec level interaction in regards to reporting function and involvement in relevant meetings in terms of service delivery
  • Process Improvement Activities

Requirements

  • Degree Educated with a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) with relevant accounting experience
  • 1st mover from large practice including relevant experience with global, multi-site client base
  • Strong IT / Excel and ERP skills
  • Proactive self-starter determined to add value
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Analytical, logical with focus on solutions and results
