Financial Controller | Professional Services | Leicestershire | Salary c.£65,000 + benefits

The role of Financial Controller is a critical one and provides crucial support to the Finance Director in determining the success of the finance function as a whole.

What are you likely to be doing?
- Management of the finance function and its operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Financial Accounting.
- Take the lead role in preparation and review of Month End, Year End and relevant reporting including Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet ownership
- Lead and manage the preparation of Statutory Accounts, preparation of the AuditPack and liaising with the relevant Audit Team.
- Responsibility for the filing of all relevant HMRC documentation and managing Banking Relationships.
- Take the lead on improving processes and maximising efficiency's, including providing a robust Control Framework, Risk& Compliance Strategy.

What do you need to be considered?
- Educated to Degree level ideally in a Finance / Business related subject
- Recognised Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Significant Experience gained within a similar role
- Team Management Experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to Evidence Implementing Process Improvement Initiatives
- An inspiring leader and motivator able to manage, delegate and support
