Finance Manager | Yorkshire | Up to £50,000

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to lead a busy site finance team at a rapidly growing logistics business, based out of one of their depots near Leeds.

As Site Finance Manager, you will have full responsibility for the site finance operations, ensuring the timely production of weekly, monthly and quarterly accounts, alongside line management responsibility for 2 direct reports. This is a customer facing role, delivering open book accounts to up to 8 customers, including household retail and e-commerce brands. You will be supporting them with customer reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and various ad-hoc requests. Essentially, you will be the bridge between finance and operations. As you progress within the role, there will also be the opportunity to get involved with business development and tendering.

This is a fast-paced role, in a business where no two days are the same. It would suit someone with a background in logistics, supply-chain, FMCG or manufacturing, who is used to weekly reporting and/or open book accounting. You will spend most of your time dealing with operations, presenting financial information, explaining variances and preparing budgets, therefore you must have excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience in dealing with non-finance stakeholders.  

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with at least 2 years PQE within a faced paced, commercial environment. You must also be able to demonstrate strong leadership, business partnering and presentation skills.
