Finance Administrator - Derby

Cherry Professional are working with an established business on the outskirts of Derby who are looking for a finance administrator to join their small, friendly team mostly focusing on the sales ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

-Accurately maintain sales ledger records and setting up new customers

-Monitor payments received and balances due

-Maintain a professional demeanour when discussing with customers and collection of aged debt

-Reconcile accounts and resolve queries in a timely manner in respect of sales ledger transactions

-Answer incoming customer queries via email/telephone in relation to their accounts

-Maintain confidentiality of the department and using discretion where necessary

-Covering reception on an ad-hoc basis

-Undertake other duties commensurate with the role

Ideal Person:

- A background in administration/finance administration/credit control/sales ledger

-Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Great attention to details and organisational skills to meet deadlines
-Excellent commutation skills

Working hours: 09:00 - 17:30 pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour lunch break
