Employment Relations Specialist | Salary £33,000 | NottinghamshireRemote workingPermanent

Cherry Professional is supporting a successful retail organisation based in Nottinghamshire. As a result of their continued success, they are looking to recruit an experienced Employment Relations Specialist and offering you the flexibility to work from home.

You will be providing operational support and advice on employment relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and advising line manager on complex cases.

Key Responsibilities,
You will be the key contact for employees and line managers and provide specialist employee relations advice on complex cases.
Determine priority cases, deciding on the best approach on a case by case basis and in line with company policies and procedures.
Lead on appeal hearings, settlement discussions and provide mediation services to drive case resolution.
Coach line managers to manage disciplinary, grievances, capability, and performance-related issues through appeal.
Lead  ER meetings and support the key business change projects.
In addition, to proactively identifying and implementing HR process improvements.
Work in partnership with the employment lawyer internally and appropriate external suppliers to review complex cases and limit the risk.
Support and coach People advisors and administrators within the team to facilitate knowledge and experience growth.
Develop training material to build knowledge, review and update policies and procedures.


Ideal candidate,
Good track record of managing high volume ER Cases.
Knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
Excellent attention to detail, able to multitask and deal with high volume workload.
Experience reviewing policies and procedures.
Google Workplace knowledge desirable.
CIPD qualified or relevant experience gained.
