Customer Relation Officer| Salary £22,000 - £24,000 |Nottingham 

Cherry Professional is looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to join a friendly and vibrant organisation based in the heart of Nottingham. The company is a well known and highly successful insurance organisation that has an innovative and supportive team. This is a permanent position, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately or as soon as possible

The role of the Customer Relation Officer is to co-ordinate and deliver excellent customer service concerning complaints made to the business, in particular in relation to Structural Defects insurance. 

Do you have experience as a Claims Adviser within the property sector? 


Key responsibilities 
You will investigate and respond promptly and clearly to all companies complaints and investigate customer cases with regulatory timescale.
To ensure consistent and fair customer outcomes by assessing complaints received and reviewing similar decisions, both internal and from financial ombudsman service.
You will issue holding responses and final responses to the complaints within regulatory timescales.
To support all third party complaints handlers, review and provide sign off in the house and third party handled complaints where required.
You will record all conclusions are recorded accurately, and the feedback is provided to relevant heads.
To have an awareness of the FCA rules and guidelines in relation to general insurance and other regulatory /legislative subject matters, such as data protection.


Ideal candidate.
Basic knowledge of MS office , Word and Excel.
Good knowledge and understanding of FCA DISP rules and timescales in relation to complaints handling.
Experience in general insurance products, including structural defects policies.
Great attention to detail, ability to investigate complex cases.
Manage and exceeding customer expectations in relation to investigating and responding to complaints.
